The HJ series is SEM’s range of higher inertia brushless servomotors. The large
diameter shaft, rotor and bearings give the HJ series higher rotor inertia and
shaft stiffness. These features provide increased stability at low speeds together
with increased rigidity and make the motors ideal for machine tool and direct drive
applications. With the addition of the HJ190 in mid 2003, the HJ range will
offer torques from 2.8 to 65Nm in five frame sizes 96, 116, 130, 155 and 190mm square.
