钛白粉R-258属于新一代高档通用型（偏水性）金红石钛白粉。钛白粉R-258适用于各种建筑涂料、工业漆、防腐漆、油墨、粉末涂料等行业。钛白粉R-258具有以下特性：

　　钛白粉R-258的高耐候性：钛白粉R-258具有较高的金红石含量，晶格完整，填充剂加量足，采取了足量的锆硅铝磷多元无机包膜和有机处理，因此钛白粉R-258能保证较高的耐候性。

　　钛白粉R-258的优秀分散性：特殊的无机表面处理和有机表面处理减少了TiO2粒子之间的接触，使钛白粉R-258在应用过程中表现出优秀的分散性。因而钛白粉R-258润湿性好，易研磨。

　　钛白粉R-258的低吸油量：钛白粉R-258的低吸油量，使钛白粉在涂料、油墨的应用过程中保持良好的流动性，利于节约成本。

钛白粉R-258的低磨耗：钛白粉R-258采用特殊的水解、盐处理、煅烧和表面处理工艺，使钛白粉粒子较软，易研磨，因而钛白粉R-258磨耗低。
