平顶链结构特点：
链节制成履带板状，它既是张力元件，亦是链条工作时的承托元件，铰链为转动副，与链轮的接触部位是顶板的铰链处。

3．套筒长短：套筒加工的长短将直接影响链条的内节内宽，所以在加工时一定要控制在公差之内。如果是带扁套筒其扁距最好按最大极限尺寸加工。因为链条在设计时，内节内宽只容许大，不容许小。铣扁时双扁要对称、平行，扁厚可按最小尺寸加工。
